I learned how to make a mosaic picture

Here is an example of my learning: I used blue and pink for my fish 

Next time: I will use different colors to make it more colourful.  

My Mihi

WALT Introduce ourselves in Maori

I learned to say new Maori words

I achieved my goal because I know what the words mean

My next step is to pronounce my Mihi Correctly.

Ko Joanne toku mama.
Ko Kaleb toku hoa.

Reading Strategy

I learned to use a dictionary to help me with the meanings.

I achieved my goal because I recognised new words.

Next time I will put the meaning into my own words.

ANZAC Writing

WALT Write a diary entry using specific vocabulary.

I learned new vocabulary.

I achieved my goal because I used new vocabulary. Here are some of my best sentences:

The bombs were deafening around me as I climbed  up Shrapnel Valley.

Next time I will use even more interesting  words like approaching artillery and bayonet.

Cross Country

WALT run 1.5km for Cross Country

I learned that it is quite hard running 1.5km.

I achieved my goal because i ran more than 6 laps and became 15th

Next time I will try and jog at halfway and then speed up and run fast.
